Held June 21-22, 2010 in Kingston, ON, the Eastern Ontario Wardens' Caucus Economic Summit, "Realizing our Potential," gathered momentum behind a regional effort to grow the economy of Eastern Ontario and strengthen its communities.  The event attracted more than 120 Summit participants from business, government, institutions and not-for-profit organizations.

At this event, The Monieson Centre facilitated a workshop on the future of the knowledge-based economy.  Results of the workshop, as well as 5 other workshops held at the event will influence the EOWC's strategies and programs moving forward.  Key takeaways, including opportunities and threats for the knowledge-based sector in Eastern Ontario are profiled in a PowerPoint presentation available for download.
