Kim Wingrove is currently the Director of Regional Economic Development with the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade. Prior to this appointment she served as Director of Communities in Transition, as well as several years as the Director of Rural Programs with the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs. Her work focuses on working collaboratively with communities, associations and sector organizations to meet economic challenges. Information, resources and relationships are critically important and Kim is a passionate believer in the power of community engagement and regional collaboration as building blocks for sustainability and success. A resident of Guelph, Ontario, Kim has a Bachelor of Education and Master of Arts from the University of Guelph.
